The two guys from Sears, after politely asking me to put my 'killers' up, quickly and efficiently got everything put together. There are so many buttons I didn't even know where to start. I walked on it for a few minutes, became distracted by the disaster that was the rest of the room around it and dismounted with a new goal of organizing and cleaning. Two days later, donations are catalogued, boxed and sitting on the porch for pickup, the tv is perfectly angled at the treadmill and our yard sale items are piled in a corner out of view.
I got changed out of work clothes, popped Terminator: Salvation in the DVD player and fired the new treadmill up. Amazingly enough it didn't shake the house when I ran and has the added benefit of a built in fan. After running for 30 minutes I realized I'm no where close to where I was running wise two years ago. I made the decision with the help of Google Maps, which is built in, to download the Boston Marathon route and start training! I love this treadmill! I woke up today and a mile into my bike ride to work decided that i loathe that treadmill.
Tomorrow is another day and one step closer to the Boston marathon!
I love this little blog post. Too funny!
